This Week's Program

Chip Bragg was born in Sumter, S.C., raised in Augusta, Ga., and graduated from Georgia Southern College and the Medical College of Georgia. He served in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps prior to moving to Thomasville where he has practiced anesthesiology for over 30 years. He and his wife Kim have three grown sons.

Chip’s lifelong passion for American history has resulted in the publication of more than fifty articles and four books—two about the Civil War and two about the Revolutionary War. His fifth book, Patriots in Exile: Charleston Rebels in St. Augustine during the American Revolution, will be released in June of this year.

He is the current chairman of the Education Committee of the Society of the Cincinnati, our nation's oldest patriotic organization, founded in 1783 by officers of the Continental Army who served together during the Revolutionary War.

Thank You for a great program John Germ!!!

John F. Germ, a member of the Rotary Club of Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, and chair of the International PolioPlus Committee, was the President of Rotary International in 2016-17.

For Rotary to thrive, Germ says, members must face current and future challenges and opportunities with "passion, enthusiasm, perseverance, and above all, integrity." "I envision Rotary boldly and creatively engaging the success of polio eradication, membership and identity issues, strengthening clubs, work with youth - our future lifeblood, and the creation of critical, strategic partnerships," says Germ.
