What you Missed Last Week!It was a treat to hear from some of our young professional minority History makers in our community. We would like to say Thank you, again to Chris Hopkins, Roscoe Smith Jr., Rickela Reynolds, and Dr. Brittany Crenshaw, please keep up the good work in the community. It is always good to hear other people experiences and see the impact they are having in the community and the work that goes on that many may not see. |
This week Program! Chase Vande Zande believes, there are many different ways to approach teaching in the game of golf. Teachers have different methods and ideas on how they approach the game. My teaching philosophy is to help golfers reach their goals, help them understand their swing and provide an enjoyable experience for all levels. Swings need to be personalized. There are no two swings alike in the game of golf. In addition, there are many varying body types. The individual’s swing is dependent on their body type. I like to spend time with my student and really develop an understanding of their swing and how I can help them. In addition I believe the golf swing needs to be kept simple. I do not want to overload my students with too much information. I want the student to focus on certain objectives before we move onto other dynamics of their swing. I believe video is beneficial to students who want to see their golf swing. Using video or other training aids is beneficial and opens up different communication waves from myself to the student. Chase, Graduate from the Florida Gulf Coast University PGA Golf Management Program.Passionate, creative, energetic golf professional with exceptional communication skills, knowledge of the golf swing and patience with junior golfers.Acknowledged for being dependable, trustworthy and hardworking from growing up on a family dairy farm.
