Welcome Back

Welcome back in the new calendar year – I hope everyone is well rested and refreshed after the holiday break!
Let's all hit the ground running for a strong and successful year. This month, we'll have:
- Mid-Year Club Assembly – Thursday, Jan. 8
- Rotary Leadership Institute – Saturday, Jan. 10
- Board Meeting – Monday, Jan. 12, 5:15 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce
- Second Harvest Sort & Pack – Thursday, Jan. 15, 11:30 a.m.
- Coffee Chat – Wednesday, Jan. 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. at Grassroots Coffee
- Fresh Produce Market – Saturday, Jan. 17 at 7 a.m. at Weston Park
- All the Buzz Apiaries – Thursday, Jan. 22
- Thomasville Antiques Show – Thursday, Jan. 29
Bring a friend who may be interested in Rotary and help us grow our club. New members build enthusiasm among our membership, encourage more volunteerism, and positively impact our community in many ways.
Thursday, Jan. 15 & Saturday, Jan. 17
Sort, Pack & Distribute Fresh Produce
The club will meet on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 11:30 a.m. at Second Harvest Food Bank to pack food boxes for this month's fresh produce distribution. After we finish packing, enjoy a box lunch with the team or grab one to go. Please join us!

We'll distribute our fresh produce boxes on Saturday, Jan. 17 at Weston Park. Set-up begins at 7:30 a.m., and distribution begins at 8:30 a.m. or as soon as we are ready.
Each month, we distribute more than 25 pounds of fresh produce and a protein to more than 200 community members in need as part of our Big Impact Project. Those who benefit from the project complete USDA paperwork validating their household income before they receive assistance, and often are in line to receive produce several hours before set up begins at 7:30 a.m.
Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or trying it out for the first time, we’d love to see you there. Bring your energy, your smile, and maybe a friend or two!
