At this month's meeting, the Thomasville Rotary board voted to increase dues in the new fiscal year that begins July 1. Quarterly dues will increase from $185 to $235, not including $25 quarterly optional donations to the Rotary Foundation and GRSP that are encouraged.
Why now?
If you have any questions about these cost increases, please contact Teri White, who will be treasurer in 2026-2027.
The club will meet on Thursday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m. at Second Harvest Food Bank to pack food boxes for this month's fresh produce distribution. After we finish packing, enjoy a box lunch with the team or grab one to go.

We'll distribute our fresh produce boxes on Saturday, May 23 at Weston Park. Set-up begins at 7:30 a.m., and distribution begins at 8:30 a.m. or as soon as we are ready. Please join us. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or trying it out for the first time, we’d love to see you there. Bring your energy, your smile, and maybe a friend or two!
Rotary will host a cookout honoring local EMS and fire personnel – heroes of our community – Tuesday, May 26.
The BBQ will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thomas County EMS, 1202 Remington Avenue, Thomasville. Rotarians who are not involved in cooking need to arrive by 11 a.m.

Here's a look at the rest of the calendar for this month:
Log into your My Rotary account to take advantage of Rotary training courses in a variety of areas, including professional development and timely topics like change management and uncovering unconscious bias.
All officers and directors who will take office in July for the 2026-2027 Rotary year are required to take the courses available for their role. Anyone who would like to volunteer as committee members and potential officers are also encouraged to take the courses.
Questions? Contact André Marria, learning facilitator for our club.
