Thursday, June 18 and Saturday, June 20 Sort, Pack & Distribute Fresh Produce This WeekThe club will meet on Thursday, June 18 at 11:30 a.m. at Second Harvest Food Bank to pack food boxes for this month's fresh produce distribution. After we finish packing, enjoy a box lunch with the team or grab one to go.
We'll distribute our fresh produce boxes on Saturday, June 20 at Weston Park. Set-up begins at 7:30 a.m., and distribution begins at 8:30 a.m. or as soon as we are ready. Please join us. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or trying it out for the first time, we’d love to see you there. Bring your energy, your smile, and maybe a friend or two! |
Thursday, June 25 Installation of New OfficersJoe Tarver will be inducted as president of our club. New officers and directors will begin their terms with the new Rotary year beginning July 1. |
Dues Increasing July 1 Quarterly dues will increase in the new fiscal year that begins July 1. Dues will increase from $185 to $235, not including $25 quarterly optional donations to the Rotary Foundation and GRSP that are encouraged.
Why now?
- Our dues have not increased since 2015.
- Both District 6900 and Rotary International have increased dues three times since 2015.
- The adjustment also accounts for increasing prices for meals, venue costs, and other routine expenses that support our meetings and activities.
If you have any questions about these cost increases, please contact Teri White, who will be treasurer in 2026-2027.

Training Courses AvailableLog into your My Rotary account to take advantage of Rotary training courses in a variety of areas, including professional development and timely topics like change management and uncovering unconscious bias. All officers and directors who will take office in July for the 2026-2027 Rotary year are required to take the courses available for their role. Anyone who would like to volunteer as committee members and potential officers are also encouraged to take the courses. Questions? Contact André Marria (229.221.7230), learning facilitator for our club and the district.
