Thursday, July 9 Thomasville Entertainment FoundationOur speaker for Thursday, July 9 is Rick Ivey, executive/artistic director of the Thomasville Entertainment Foundation (TEF). He'll be sharing highlights from the upcoming 2026-2027 season. 
Founded in 1937, TEF is a volunteer-led, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving the South Georgia/North Florida region. The organization’s work includes:
- An annual concert series featuring internationally celebrated artists in opera, theater, dance, classical music, jazz and other forms of entertainment
- Concerts, classes and workshops for area students
- Scholarships and travel grants for outstanding young musicians
Members and guests are invited to hear from Rick Ivey and learn more about TEF’s programs and impact in the region.

July Calendar at a Glance  Looking ahead to July: - Thursday, July 2: NO MEETING TODAY: Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of American Independence
- Thursday, July 9: Thomasville Entertainment Foundation with Rick Ivey
- Thursday, July 9: Wine or Whine at 5:30 p.m.; location TBA
- Monday, July 13: Board Meeting at Chamber of Commerce, beginning at 5:15 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 15: Coffee Chat
Grassroots Coffee, between 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., for a cup of coffee and a casual conversation! Stay long enough for breakfast and get to know your fellow Rotarians better or grab your coffee to go. No agenda, no program. - Thursday, July 16: Packing at Second Harvest at 11:30 a.m.
Saturday, July 18: No produce distribution at Weston Park in July or August- Thursday, July 23: Dr. Marla Golden: Doctors of Osteopathy and pain management therapies
- Thursday, July 30: Echoes of the Gavel – join us to learn more about this topic!

Saturday, Aug. 22 Rotary | United Way Golf TournamentMark your calendars now! The Rotary Club of Thomasville and United Way Golf Classic, benefitting our Rotary Big Impact community projects and the Thomas County United Way, is Saturday, Aug. 22 at Country Oaks Golf Course. United Way supports 18 local agencies, directly impacting the lives of countless residents. Your participation and support are vital in making this event a success. We need volunteers on the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 21 and morning of the golf tournament. To volunteer, sign up here or contact Scooter Grubbs or Mary Beth Donalson. Sponsors should complete this form and return it to Mary Beth.
