Arthur Tripp - State Executive Director USDA Farm Service Agency Add Guest

Arthur Tripp was appointed by the Biden Administration to serve as the State Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Georgia in October 2021. Tripp is a native Georgian born in Warner Robins. Prior to his appointment, Tripp served as the Senior Policy Advisor to U.S. Congressman David Scott, current Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Agriculture, where he managed the agriculture policy portfolio for the Congressman. He also served as a Senior Administrator in the Office of the President at the University of Georgia and as District Director for Georgia’s 7th Congressional District. Tripp is a graduate of the University of Georgia (UGA). He was named to the 2015 Class of the University of Georgia’s 40Under40 and served on the Alumni Board of Directors for the UGA School of Public and International Affairs. Tripp is a graduate of the 2019 Class of Leadership Georgia and served the 2020 Class as a Program Chair. Leadership Georgia is one of the nation’s oldest and most successful leadership training programs for business, civic, and community leaders who have the desire and potential to work together for a better Georgia. Previously, Tripp served as a board member for the Athens Chamber of Commerce. Tripp and his wife Jessica live in Hoschton, Georgia, with their 3-year-old son. Tripp enjoys playing tennis, golf, and flag football. He is an ordained minister and has officiated weddings for close family and friends.
