Thanks for the great programs on Heat Exhaustion/Heat Stroke and the Census

The Program this Week will be Jessica Little of Sweet Grass Dairy

Hear the story of Sweet Grass from Jessica and Jeremy Little owners of Sweetgrass Dairy - (Times Enterprise 8/16/19)- Sweet Grass Dairy broke ground on a new production facility Thursday afternoon. Once completed, the 12,000-square foot structure, located on Roseway Drive, will feature customized environmental controls to maintain temperature, humidity and air flow in cheese aging rooms. With six core cheeses in their lineup, Sweet Grass is hoping the new facility will provide an opportunity to improve cheese consistency and quality. “Continuous improvement is something we focus on every day as a team,” said Jeremy Little, co-owner with his wife Jessica. “This new facility provides an incredible opportunity for us to improve all of our products, and most importantly, work on developing new ones.” Construction is expected to be completed by next spring. A spokesperson for Sweet Grass said the opening of the new facility is expected to create several new jobs, though an exact estimate could not be calculated. Cheese production is also expected to increase threefold. “We are so excited about the ability to increase our production capacity of our handcrafted cheeses,” said Jessica Little, co-owner. “For the last three years, we have been looking forward to telling the story of Southern cheeses and the special grass-based milk that is able to be produced in Georgia.”

Thanks for a great Wine or Whine Event
