Here's a look at the June calendar as we look to finish the Rotary year strong:

• June is Rotary Fellowships Month.
• Thursday, June 5: Club members of the year will be honored during the annual awards program. 
  Wine or Whine is also scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Location: TBA
• Monday, June 9, 5:30 p.m.: This month's board meeting will be a celebration of the board and the accomplishments of the year, at Marta and Jerry's home at Gentian Creek. Board members' spouses/partners are invited. 
   Please RSVP by June 3 to Marta: (229) 221-0958. 
• Thursday, June 12: Copper Comita will bring a timely program about avoiding heat stroke and Debbie Goodman will present Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) awards.
  The blood mobile also will be on-hand at the meeting for those who would like to give blood.  
• Wednesday, June 18, 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.: Coffee Chat at Grassroots Coffee. Fellowship with fellow Rotarians – no agenda, no program, just an opportunity to fellowship over coffee before you start your workday. 
• Thursday, June 19: Pack and Sort at Second Harvest, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
• Saturday, June 21: Produce distribution at Weston Park begins at 7:30 a.m.
• Thursday, June 26: Enjoy a recap of the Rotary year and induction of president-elect Nate Tyler.
