What You Missed Last Week!
What a great program last week! We had a full house and we were able to honor the efforts of our golf tournament and present to the United Way a check for $25,000. Way to go Rotarians!!! We also had the high school golf winners with us from Thomas County Central golf team, way to go Jackets! Danny Copeland shared with us his journey to success and how principles he learned 
as a youth carried him through life. He now has the joy of giving back to the community as the founder of COGI. We are blessed to have so many great people come from Thomasville and to have a club filled with men and women who strive to make our community better by the service we give. We all have something to give and nothing is little when it comes to making an impact!
To say it was a TEAM effort is a huge understatement! You all put so much of your time, so much of your energy, so much of your resources and so much of your talents into this truly united Rotary Club of Thomasville Project. Our Rotary Theme is Serve to Change Lives. So, I can personally give you my word that each of these $25,000 will be used to impact the lives of men, women, and children of Thomasville, Thomas County! So on behalf of Rebecca Cannady, the United Way Board of Directors, and all eighteen of our Community Agencies, I say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
