Thursday, Sept. 17 & Saturday, Sept. 19
Second Harvest Sort and Pack & Produce Distribution

The club will meet on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 11:30 a.m. at Second Harvest Food Bank to sort and pack produce for our monthly food distribution. After we finish packing, enjoy a box lunch with the team or grab one to go.

After a summer break, we resume our produce distribution this month, on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Weston Park. Set up begins at 7:30 a.m. and distribution begins at 8:30 or as soon as we are set up. Join us and bring some friends to support this important cause.

Week 2 Results
Legendary Losers Vs Touchdown Divas

The men didn't come up with a team name, so Janet took the liberty of naming them herself: Legendary Losers. And the women are the Touchdown Divas. Even if you did not turn in a score sheet the first two weeks, you can still join in the fun of Legendary Losers vs. Touchdown Divas!

Janet will announce last week's winners at Second Harvest on Thursday.

Download this week's game sheet and turn it into Janet Liles by 6 p.m. Thursday.

Please do not turn in your sheets to Lu!

Thursday, Sept. 17
Rotary Float Planning Meeting for Rose Festival Parade

Join the first planning meeting to help shape the float

All Rotary members are invited to the first meeting to begin planning for a Rotary float for the Rose Festival Parade. Whether you have ideas for design, skills to offer, or resources to share, your input will help shape the float.

Meeting details

  • When: 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 17
  • Where: Home of Craig Miller, 800 Hall Road, Thomasville 31757
  • Refreshments: Charcuterie, snacks & beverages will be provided

We'll discuss the creative vision for the float, our budget, and the resources we will need. Below is an initial look, but the design will change once we get everyone's input and know what we have to work with.

Please let Craig know if you can make it: craig@ftintermedia.com or 813-624-3674.

We look forward to seeing you and getting started on a float that represents our Rotary spirit and the Thomasville community.
