ROSE CITY STRING BAND
This Week Program!

The Thomasville High School Orchestra is comprised of violin, viola, cello, and double bass. The students can start playing in the fourth grade and continue on through high school. The City Schools offer orchestra at all elementary schools starting in the fourth grade. The program started in 2007 and has continued to grow. This group has earned Superior ratings at Festival competitions and recently performed for the residents of the Legacy Villages at Plantation Manor. Dr. Colleen Wade directs the fourth through sixth-grade orchestras and Dr. Sally Hernandez directs the seventh through twelfth grade.

What You Missed Last Week!

What an exciting program last week with Thomas University Coach Tom Fleenor and his coaching staff. Coach Fleenor enters his third season at Thomas University in 2021-22, and his 29th year overall coaching in the college ranks. He carries an overall record of 421-284 (.597). Fleenor came to Thomasville after a successful six-year stint at NCAA DII Lenoir-Rhyne University. He is really passionate about baseball and recruiting good kids to come to TU.

We missed the KING of Sunshine last week and we hope Harry is back this week, however Ron did a good job stepping in and giving us some laughter.

GRSP 75th Celebration

Can we say hats off to the planning committee of the GRSP 75th Anniversary Celebration! Two years of planning and changes, and we finally were able to celebrate with our Generations of Giving Givers and other supporters. Wallace & Debbie Goodman, Teri White, Fran Milberg, Scott Rich, and John Brown, thank you for all your hard work and dedication.  What a great way to honor a 75 year old initiative,  through the Will Watt GRSP Peace Plaza fountain. Also, special Thanks to Jeremy and the Marriott for working with us to  make this happen.
