Thank you Will Watt, III for introducing us to his brother-in-law Tod Sedgwick, U.S. Ambassador (RET) last Thursday. He gave an interesting talk on World War I.
For those who would like to study more about WWI, he suggested the following:
The Proud Tower by Barbara Tuchman
The Guns of August by Barbara Tuchman
The First World War by Sir John Keegan
An Illustrated History of the First World War by Sir John Keegan
The Great War on PBS.org
Have a great week!
I hope that everyone has planted at least one tree since July 1, 2017. If you have pictures of your new tree, would you mind taking a picture with your cell phone? Then text or email the picture to Howard Stephens at 229-516-0595 or mhick9s@gmail.com
The club first met Anna on October15th, when she presented the program at our lunch meeting. We followed up with a delightful reception, hosted by Debbie & Wallace at the home, to get to know her better. Now today, Anna will be sharing her adventures and life while in the United States.
GRSP Recognition with Wallace & Debbie Goodman and update on the GRSP 2017-18 year.
