What's on tap for June?


Here's a look at the calendar for June:

  • Thursday, June 4: Ronald McDonald House – "help families feel at home. Even when they can't be." 
  • Thursday, June 4: Wine or Whine at Kin Wine, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (204 S Broad St.)
  • Thursday, June 11: Literacy for Thomas County
  • Friday, June 12: Heroes Cookout for local linemen at Thomasville Utilities Department (326 Fletcher St.)
    Volunteers are needed:
    10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Set up and cook
    11 a.m. to noon: Serve and fellowship with linemen
    Noon to 1 p.m.: Cleanup crew
  • Wednesday, June 17: Coffee Chat
    Grassroots Coffee, between 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., for a cup of coffee and a casual conversation! Stay long enough for breakfast and get to know your fellow Rotarians better or grab your coffee to go. No agenda, no program.
  • Thursday, June 18: Pack & Sort at Second Harvest, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
  • Saturday, June 20: Produce distribution at Weston Park, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, June 25: Joe Tarver will be inducted as president of our club.
