What You Missed Last Week!
What a great meeting last week. We got to hear from fellow Rotarians Don Sims and Past President Jeff Zoller who have participated in the Youth Exchange Program. We had about 12 student athletes and 4 coaches from our 3 different high schools visiting with us. Each coach gave us a preview into this upcoming football year and all the schools are looking good and ready to compete on Friday Nights. A group of club members traveled to Sandestin, Fl, for District 6900 Celebration.

What a Honor!!!
Past District Governor Fran Milberg Distinguished Service Award
Congratulations!!! Past District Governor Fran Milberg, on receiving The Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award. This award honors individual Rotarians who have demonstrated exemplary service to the Foundation. The Distinguished Service Award is the Rotary Foundation’s highest service recognition and is given to Rotarians and Rotaractors who have demonstrated exemplary service to the Foundation.
What is unique about the award is what it represents. Trustees of The Rotary Foundation give this award to those Rotarians who have rendered exceptional service to the Foundation beyond the district level or for an extended period of time. This award is an internationally competitive award granted annually to a maximum of 50 Rotarians who have exhibited exceptional active service to The Rotary Foundation. Recipients must have received the Citation for Meritorious Service at least four years prior to be eligible for this award, which is given only to those who have demonstrated active service; one who has contributed only financially is not considered for this award.
In District 6900 only seven other Rotarians have received this award. PDG Fran serves and represent our district on all levels. We are so proud of you Fran, you are so deserving of this award. Thank you for all that you do, it does not go unnoticed!
