Leadership Transition

Former District Governor Fran Milberg formally installed John Brown as the club's new president and the new members of the Board for the 2020-21 Rotary year. President John spoke to the club about his plans for the new year, emphasizing these two points.

First, our club's focus will be local.  Throughout his term, our club's emphasis will be on our impact in the Thomasville community.  He shared that our District Grant funds will be used to support SPARK Thomasville, a local initiative whose purpose is to foster and develop entrepreneurism among those in the community who are undeserved and under-estimated.

Second, a major focus of our year is the 100th anniversary of the Rotary Club of Thomasville.  A gala is planned for later in the new Rotary year to cap off a year of celebration.
