Last Week's program

Last week’s Classification Talk was given by Brett Jenkins. Brett chose to tell us about his great grandmother and the impact she had on her children and grandchildren. Brett was the recipient of principles she passed down to succeeding generations. These were principles that helped mold Brett’s entire life. These principles prepared him for the responsibilities of being a father, a husband a lawyer and so much more. Thanks Brett, for choosing the Rotary Club of Thomasville as the organization where you can apply those principles and best serve our community.

Our newest member Jamie Lawrence was inducted into the club by John Glenn. We look forward to working with and learning more about Jamie. Welcome aboard Jamie!

The program speaker was Dr Steve DePaola Associate Professor of Psychology at Thomas University. He highlighted the impact negative campaigning has on the voting population. The information presented was timely in that we have a general election in a few months.

Rotarians Andre Marria and Carlton Bryant gave an energetic Directors Report for Youth Services. Covid 19 may have slowed our activities, but there is still work we are doing. We are all in the boat of service together.
