Dues Increasing July 1 At this month's meeting, the Thomasville Rotary board voted to increase dues in the new fiscal year that begins July 1. Quarterly dues will increase from $185 to $235, not including $25 quarterly optional donations to the Rotary Foundation and GRSP that are encouraged.
Why now?
- Our dues have not increased since 2015.
- Both District 6900 and Rotary International have increased dues three times since 2015.
- The adjustment also accounts for increasing prices for meals, venue costs, and other routine expenses that support our meetings and activities.
If you have any questions about these cost increases, please contact Teri White, who will be treasurer in 2026-2027. Thursday, May 21 and Saturday, May 23 Sort, Pack & Distribute Fresh ProduceThe club will meet on Thursday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m. at Second Harvest Food Bank to pack food boxes for this month's fresh produce distribution. After we finish packing, enjoy a box lunch with the team or grab one to go.
We'll distribute our fresh produce boxes on Saturday, May 23 at Weston Park. Set-up begins at 7:30 a.m., and distribution begins at 8:30 a.m. or as soon as we are ready. Please join us. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or trying it out for the first time, we’d love to see you there. Bring your energy, your smile, and maybe a friend or two! Tuesday, May 26 Heroes Cookout: EMS and Fire TeamsRotary will host a cookout honoring local EMS and fire personnel – heroes of our community – Tuesday, May 26. The BBQ will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thomas County EMS, 1202 Remington Avenue, Thomasville. Rotarians who are not involved in cooking need to arrive by 11 a.m.
