The North Atlanta Professional Alliance Rotary Club was honored to welcome District Governor Cynthia Dorsey Edwards for her official visit at our July monthly meeting at Roswell Junction in Roswell, GA.

Before the meeting, NAPA board members joined Governor Edwards for dinner - a conversation that set the tone for the entire evening. She shared her heart for Rotary and her vision for District 6900 in 2026-2027. We shared ours - how we each found Rotary, why we stay, and what this past year of growth has meant to us as a club.

What we shared that night is a story worth telling. NAPA was officially chartered on March 23, 2026 with just 16 members. In just a few months, we have grown to 42 strong - and the momentum has not slowed down. What draws professionals to NAPA is something most networking groups can't offer: caliber and genuine community in the same room. CEOs, attorneys, founders, and executives who actually know your name and want to see you win. Most groups give you one or the other - a big room full of business cards, or a tight-knit group that's hard to break into. NAPA gives you both.

Anchored by Rotary's Service Above Self ethos, NAPA attracts people who come in wanting to give -- which means every member is surrounded by givers. That's rare. And it shows in everything we do.

Cynthia was warm, inspiring, and genuinely moved by what NAPA has built. Hearing her embrace our club and reflect back what she saw in us was something we will not soon forget. As a token of our gratitude, NAPA presented Governor Edwards with a $1,500 check -- a donation to the Rotary District 6900 Foundation and PolioPlus -- two causes close to her heart and central to Rotary's global mission.

Service Above Self isn't just something we say. It was the room we were all sitting in that night.
