District 6900 proudly joins The Rotary Foundation in honoring PDG Margie Kersey with the 2022-2023 Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award.
Only 24 of these awards were presented throughout the world last year. It is the highest award given by The Rotary Foundation to Rotarians who have demonstrated a broad range of service over an extended period of time and substantial activity within the past two years. We, as District 6900 Rotarians, appreciate Margie’s contributions to training, education and the ideals of Rotary service in surrounding Districts and throughout the Region.
PDG George Granade recently honored Margie Kersey with at the most recent RLI training, where Margie was serving as a trainer!

She served as District Governor in 2011-2012, as the District Foundation Fund Raising Chair 2013-2015 and the District Foundation Chair 2016-2019. Margie has also organized training on The Rotary Foundation for District Assembly and President-Elects Training. She serves as an RLI instructor at both introductory and graduate level courses.
